OVERVIEW
The Otani K-706 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The ribbed tread pattern and the durable rubber compound offer excellent contact with the driving surfaces. This close road contact upgrades the tire’s steering responsiveness and towing stability. In other words, the steering response time is faster and more precise to the towing vehicle’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. At the same time, the outer ribs help the tire have better cornering. These elements guarantee the tire’s overall controllability and maneuvering.
The model offers great all season performance. The ribbed tread design and the all season compound enhance the tire’s dry, wet, and winter-weather traction. In other words, this tread pattern follows the road surface at all times, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. On the other hand, the zigzag grooves effectively resist hydroplaning, by dispersing water and slush from the footprint in wet-weather conditions.
