OVERVIEW
The Ohtsu AT4000 is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for sport utility vehicles and light trucks.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The aggressive tread design with the dynamic zigzag grooves and variable tread blocks increase the all weather road gripping ability. They find firm grip on all road surfaces and ensure a safer year round performance. The wide zigzag grooves actively prevent hydroplaning by channeling water and slush away from the tire's footprint. They also avoid snow packing into the grooves and blocking the tire's road contact and promote better traction in all weather.
The aggressive tread design also improves the off-road performance. The tire is capable of handling all soft, loose and uneven road terrains as the varying tread blocks and the zigzag grooves enhance its road gripping capability. The tread's self-cleaning nature cleans out mud and ejects rock stuck between the tread elements. The maintained clean footprint keeps the tire's road gripping ability at all times, while also preventing stone retention which can cause harm to the tire's casing. The better road gripping ability provides a more secure driving experience during off-road driving.
The tread design's tapered shoulders increase the model's controllability. They firmly grip the road surface in all weather and ensure a safer drive. This upgrades the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tire's structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it, while the steering becomes quick and precise in its response to the driver's commands.
