OVERVIEW
The Nexen Roadian AT II is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. Nexen offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tire's excellent all weather traction is thanks to the siping detail of the tread, the zig zag grooves and the multi-wave kerf. The better road gripping ability in dry, wet and winter weather conditions is further improved by the excellent hydroplaning resistance. The zigzag grooves eliminate water from below the tire footprint, and in this manner, they avoid dangerous hydroplaning. The road grip stays just as strong during on and off-road driving and it allows the driver to confidently control the tire on all road surfaces.
The model is capable of conquering all soft, loose and uneven road surfaces. The special dual purpose tread pattern improves the tire's road gripping ability both on and off-road, making its use very versatile. To further improve the off-road capability, the tread pattern's self-cleaning nature maintains a constantly clean tire footprint. It cleans out mud and snow and ejects rocks from between the tread elements. The clean footprint is capable of better road grip and it prevents stone retentions as a result.
A longer lasting tread life is guaranteed. The optimized tread design prevents irregular wear from forming across the tread area by distributing the driving pressure evenly.
