OVERVIEW

The Nankang Surpax SP-5 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire has excellent all weather road gripping ability. The special all season tire compound and the symmetric tread pattern work together to increase the all weather traction and road gripping ability. They firmly grip the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The two circumferential and numerous swooping grooves actively resist hydroplaning situations by eliminating water from below the tire's footprint. The better water dispersing ability and great all weather traction ensure a safer year round drive.

The symmetric tread pattern's solid center rib maintains constant road contact which improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The constant contact ensures a quick and precise steering responsiveness to the driver's commands, while it stabilizes the tire against the driving pressure affecting it. The shoulder tread block sequence manages to increase the cornering and maneuvering ability and power. The tread blocks increase the number of biting edges that grip the road in all weather and ensure a more secure maneuvering ability.

The Surpax SP-5 guarantees a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The special Noise Simulation System (NSS) optimizes the tread design and its tread block pattern to lower the road noise levels. The NSS decreases the road noise heard while the tires are in motion by creating a sound frequency that negates road noise heard in the vehicle's cabin. The tread design also features special siping detail that upgrades the tread stability.
