OVERVIEW

The Michelin XTA is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles, to be mounted on the trailer axle.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The special ribbed tread design and the all season tire compound work together to boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The zigzag ribbed pattern and the optimal siping detail offer firm road grip throughout the year, while the all season compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures. The zigzag center ribs upgrade the hydroplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The increased hydroplaning prevention and all weather traction ensure a safer driving experience throughout the year.

The tire's ribbed tread pattern design closely follows the road surface, which improves its controllability. The better road contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the towing vehicle's instructions, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The boosted controllability ensures a safer year round performance.

The XTA maintains a clean footprint. The staggered grooves' walls eject rocks and eliminate mud and snow stuck between the tread elements. This keeps the footprint clean and prevents the tire from being blocked from its contact with the road surface. The tire's self-cleaning nature also prevents stone retention from harming the tire's casing and ensures a safer drive and a longer lasting usability.
