OVERVIEW
The Maxxis Buckshot Mudder is a mud terrain all season tire manufactured for light trucks.
The tire promotes great all season traction. The large tread elements and all season tire compound work together to boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. The tread design's blocks find firm grip in all weather, while the compound keeps its flexible traction throughout the year, including in winter weather. The tread's high void ratio prevents hydroplaning, while the large tread elements eliminate snow stuck between the tread elements to ensure a safer year round performance. Furthermore, the tire is pinned for studs, which can be added, in accordance with the state law, to boost the ice and snow grip and traction.
The large, staggered tread blocks, high void ratio and open shoulder pattern enhance the soft, loose and uneven terrain traction. The large tread elements boost the road grip throughout the year and on all terrain, especially when driving on muddy terrains and loose dirt. The constant traction increases the model's performing capability on all off-road terrain surface conditions. The high void ratio and open shoulder pattern disperse mud and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. In this manner, the tire maintains a clean footprint constantly, while it actively prevents stone retention from harming the tire's casing. The durable tire compound and tread design also manage to resist off-road damage, such as cuts and punctures, from shortening the tire's service life.
The Buckshot Mudder features large S-shaped tread blocks on the tire's center tread area. This upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability as this design ensures a constant road contact throughout the tire's lifetime.
