Performance

The Maxtrek Fortis T5 is a high performance all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. The special asymmetric tread design and the silica-based tire compound improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. The tread design keeps the tire close to the road surface at all times. This enhances the steering responsiveness, the driving stability and the cornering ability significantly. The Fortis T5 prevents deformation under the high speed driving pressure, allowing the model to perform exceptionally at high speeds.

Performance Tires at Performance Prices.

This would be my 4th set of tires purchased from PriorityTire.com. So far, each set has stood up to the on and off road abuse that Western Colorado has to offer. These Maxtrek Fortis T5’s went on our 2016 Range Rover Sport HST. Living rurally we often drive on unpaved dirt and gravel roads. Winters can be harsh with snow and ice, so we need tires that can perform in all conditions. We’ve been running these tires for two weeks and so far so good. They’ve been in some light snow, moderate rains, unpaved gravel and dry paved roads. Sticking and giving traction on all surfaces. They replaced a set of Nokian Hakkapilittas that were on the RR when we bought it. They were noisy and hard compound. They whined similar to an all terrain truck tire. These Maxtrek’s are quiet and smooth and much more enjoyable at a 1/3 of the price. Not a huge selection 21” performance all season tires out there, but so far we’re very happy with Maxtrek Fortis T5’s.
