OVERVIEW
The Lexani LXST-105 is a touring all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The special ribbed tread design with the wide grooves and siping detail enhance the dry, wet and winter weather traction with its road gripping ability and power. The wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The result is an improved all weather driving safety.
The ribbed tread design also manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. This prevents heat buildup along the tire's surface and eases the driving pressure off the tire, which effectively decreases the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the force affecting the tire during the drive that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire's motion. The reduced rolling resistance promotes a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly drive as it lowers the towing vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
The tread design and advanced tire compound ensure an extended tread usability. The tread design's even driving force distribution prevents irregular wear formations across the tread area. The special compound enhances the tire's resistance to tread wear. In other words, it significantly slows the tread wear rate down. The slower tread wear rate and the prevention of uneven wear extends the tire's usability and tread life greatly.
The LXST-105 is also very responsive to the towing vehicle's instructions. The tread design's solid center rib and the two middle ribs, that feature a siping detail, keep the tire close to the road surface at all times.
