OVERVIEW

The Leao R781 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. It combines the all season compound and the ideal symmetric ribbed tread design to enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread design with the optimal tread block placement increases the grip on the road surface during the drive, with additional biting edges. On the other hand, the all season compound keeps the rubber flexibility and maintains the tire’s traction in all temperatures. The circumferential grooves eliminate water and slush from the footprint, effectively avoiding hydroplaning in the process. This combination improves the tire’s ideal year round performance.

The symmetric ribbed tread design enhances the controllability. The tread design’s close and constant surface contact increases the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In this manner, the steering is quicker and more precise in its response to the towing vehicle’s instructions, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The tread’s optimal shoulder block placement increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface while the tires are maneuvering. These blocks provide extra biting edges which grip the road surface, which increases the cornering grip and power. As a result, the tire improves the towing vehicle’s control over the trailer and it ensures its more powerful performance.

The R781 offers a fuel efficient performance. The better overall all weather traction improves the tire’s performance by easing the driving pressure off the tire. This manages to significantly lower the rolling resistance as well. The rolling resistance is the driving pressure affecting the tires, which determines the vehicle’s needed fuel intake to keep the tires in motion.
