OVERVIEW
The Kelly ArmorSteel RSD is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.
The model ensures first-rate all weather traction. The symmetric tread's block placement with the siping pattern and the all season tire compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. The symmetric tread's optimal road grip is enhanced with the additional biting edges the sipes provide. The compound keeps the ideal weather flexibility throughout the year and resists weather damage. The groove detail avoids hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The constant road contact upgrades the year round driving safety.
The flat footprint of the symmetric tread pattern helps the tire lengthen its usability. The tread allows the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids uneven tread wear formation on the tire's surface. The durable tire compound, on the other hand, manages to decrease the model's tread wear rate, which further extends the tread life.
