OVERVIEW
The Insa Turbo Winter Grip is a touring, winter tire made for passenger vehicles.
Insa Turbo tires are made in Spain. They are REMOLDED tires, which is a type of RETREAD. This means that a recycled tire casing went through the remolding process and has received a new life cycle. Remolded tires are the closest to new tires among RETREADED models. However, the tire is still not a new tire, as remolding is a RETREADING method. They do not just get a new tread area glued onto them, they receive a new sidewall and tread area, which is then cured and shaped into the desired tread pattern. These tires are DOT approved and they are guaranteed to last and to perform as well as new tires do. These tires are safer than regular retreaded models and perform as safely and successfully as new tires do. In this manner, Insa Turbo recycles old tires and contributes to lowering their carbon footprint to help save the environment.
The tire boosts the winter weather traction. It combines its winter tread compound and the directional detailed tread design to improve the dry and wet winter weather performance. The compound maintains the rubber flexibility in colder temperatures, keeping the tire pliable in winter weather conditions. The directional tread design with the siping pattern increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface on ice- and snow-covered road surface conditions. The angled lateral and zigzag circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They channel water and slush away from the footprint, optimizing the tire's road contact and enhancing the wet and slippery weather performance.
The Winter Grip upgrades the handling and controllability with the ideal road contact. The tread's continuous center rib area increases the model's surface contact throughout the performance. In this manner, the tire significantly increases the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder tread block placement, with the siping detail, enhances the number of biting edges gripping the road surface during cornering, which boosts the maneuvering ability and power. The directional tread design and the high-density siping pattern shortens the braking distance. They ensure a close road contact and manage to create friction between the tire and the road surface at the moment of braking. As a result, the tire upgrades the braking power and guarantees a safer performing ability.
