OVERVIEW
The Hankook RoadHandler H/T is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks.
The all weather traction of the model is guaranteed by the special all season tread pattern that grips the road remarkably in dry, wet and winter weather conditions. The high density siping detail increases the winter weather traction and the tire is safe to use on ice and snow covered roads. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint, which also increases the wet weather traction. The model is safe to use all year this way.
The longer tread life is the result of the combination of the tread pattern and the tire compound. The tread pattern's optimized design spreads the driving pressure out across the footprint evenly. This equal distribution of the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking prevents irregular wear patterns from forming on the tread, which can shorten the tire's usability. As uneven wear is avoided, the tire can be in service for a longer period of time and its tread life is extended.
Driving on the highway with this model is a smooth and quiet experience. The tire follows the road closely, which reduces the road vibrations felt in the cabin of the vehicle. The optimal variable pitch sequence decreases the road noise heard while the tires are in motion. The sequence creates a special frequency that negates the road noise. This cancels out the road and pattern noise heard by the passengers and offers a more comfortable drive.
The RoadHandler H/T's optimized tread pattern, with its five-rib design, enhances the steering responsiveness and stability. The tire maintains contact road contact as a result, and it is quick and accurate in its response to the driver's commands. The tire's exceptional stability defends it from the external driving forces that can affect it. These two enhancements increase the tire's performing capability during on-road driving.
