Grandforce GF007
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Enhanced controllability
- Upgraded load durability
- Year-round performance
OVERVIEW
The Grandforce GF007 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The model provides great all season traction. The ideal tread design and the all season compound increase the tire's traction in dry, wet, and winter-weather conditions. In other words, the ideal tread pattern generates biting edges to increase road grip, while the silica compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. At the same time, circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint. They resist hydroplaning and ensure the tire's safe performance, even on wet roads.
The tread design's consistent surface contact effectively upgrades its controllability. Maintaining road contact upgrades the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability throughout the performance. This results in faster and more accurate steering response to the towing vehicle's instructions, while the structure is stabilized. It also helps to minimize the possibility of trailer swaying. Better handling and maneuvering are guaranteed in this manner.
The Grandforce GF007 offers superb load and driving durability. This tire features a robust structure that does not deform under load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it is able to securely carry and withstand heavy loads. This optimizes the tire's overall load durability, optimizing its heavy-duty applications.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
