The Goodyear Nordic Winter is a touring, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire increases its winter weather traction by utilizing the directional tread design and the winter compound. The tread pattern promotes a high number of biting edges with the high-density siping placement along the directional design, which greatly enhances the ice- and snow-covered road surface performance. The winter compound's rubber elements optimize the rubber flexibility in freezing temperatures to ensure the tire's secure traction in severe winter situations. The directional tread design's angled lateral grooves manage to prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. This further improves the cold temperature wet weather driving safety. The tire's tread area is pinned for studs, which can be added to the tire to further enhance the winter weather, ice and snow gripping capability.
