The directional stability is provided by the combination of the internal twin steel belt structure and the continuous contact with the road. As the tire closely follows the road surface the external driving forces are not able to affect it in such a high degree, which stabilizes the tire for towing. The tread life is increased with the evenly spread out forces of acceleration, braking and cornering and the stabilized tread area. The tread blocks do not shift about and the tread prevents irregular wear, making the tire usable for a longer period of time.
