OVERVIEW
The Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G:2 is an ultra high performance summer tire made for performance and passenger vehicles.
The tire has an asymmetric directional tread pattern. This prevents it from being mounted on either side of the vehicle, as the asymmetric tread pattern needs to be on a specific side for it to function properly without excessive tread wear.
The tire offers great summer weather traction thanks to the high performance tire compound used in its manufacture. It provides excellent, race-like dry and wet weather traction to the model and enables it to perform safety in such weather conditions. The tread design's sweeping aqua-channel grooves prevent dangerous hydroplaning situations by eliminating water from below the tread area. This also improves the wet weather traction, offering a safe and quality driving experience in summer weather.
The tread pattern and the mold shape increase the handling and performing ability. The asymmetric directional tread pattern's outboard shoulder tread blocks increase the cornering ability and power by providing additional biting edges. The better cornering stability allows the driver to safely control the vehicle in summer conditions. The multi radius mold shape improves the steering responsiveness as it optimizes the tire's shape. This allows the model to maintain constant road contact and to follow the road surface closely, improving the steering responsiveness and precision. As a result, the tire is quick and accurate in its response to the driver's commands, enabling effortless and safe controllability.
The Eagle F1 Supercar G:2 internal structure features high tensile steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon cords that enhance the high speed durability. The internal structure maintains the optimal tire shape in all summer conditions, which increases the tire's safety, as it does not deform under the driving forces.
