General Grabber Arctic LT
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Winter weather traction
- Enhanced controllability
- Longer lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The General Grabber Arctic LT is a highway terrain, winter tire manufactured for light trucks.
The tire promotes first-rate winter weather traction. The symmetric tread design features a high-density siping pattern and special snow traction ridges, located between the tread blocks, which work together to boost the tire's grip on ice- and snow-covered road surface conditions. The model's excellent gripping capability can be further upgraded. The tread design's circumferential grooves and open shoulder pattern prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint, significantly increasing the cold temperature wet traction and the performing safety.
The model was designed with the DuraGen Ultra High Strength Technology. This technology reinforces the tire's structure for it to handle heavier loads. The tire does not deform under the load pressure affecting the model, which improves the load capacity. This construction also upgrades the tire's controllability as it stabilizes the tire and maintains its contact with the road surface at all times. In this manner, the tire increases the steering responsiveness and accuracy and it stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure. The tread design's high-density siping pattern, on the other hand, helps improve the braking ability. They create friction between the tire and the road surface and decrease the braking distance, resulting in a secure driving experience.
The Grabber Arctic LT offers a lengthened tread life. The stabilized tread elements enable the footprint to equally circulate the driving pressure along the tread elements. The tread stability prevents tread flexing, which can cause unnecessary friction between the road and the tire, accelerating the tread wear rate. In this manner, the tire guarantees even tread wear throughout the tire's lifetime.
