Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Galaxy Special Trailer II
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All weather traction
- Upgraded load durability
- Longer lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Galaxy Special Trailer II is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The model increases the all weather traction. The all season compound and the symmetric tread design improve the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The durable compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, optimizing the summer and winter weather performance at all times. The tread design manages to firmly grip the road surface with the better road-to-rubber ratio. The zigzag circumferential grooves eliminate rocks stuck between the tread elements, avoiding stone retention in the process. These grooves also prevent hydroplaning with the better water and slush dispersing capability.
The reinforced internal structure features a safer load durability. The stronger nylon construction maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it is able to securely carry and handle heavy loads. The maintained ideal tire shape and the strengthened construction boost the overall load capacity. They also help to maintain the surface contact while the tires are in motion, upgrading the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the tire greatly upgrades the towing vehicle's control over the trailer throughout its performance.
The Galaxy Special Trailer II also upgrades the tread life. The flat footprint and the stabilized tread elements upgrade the pressure distribution across the tread area. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid irregular wear formations across the tread area. The stronger compound elements, on the other hand, manage to decrease the treadwear rate by utilizing wear-resistant rubber materials. The reduced and even wear greatly boosts the service life.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
