OVERVIEW
The Forceum Ultra is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The model promotes great all weather traction. The symmetric tread design and the all season tire compound enhance the all weather road gripping ability and power. In this manner, the tire firmly grips the road surface in various conditions, while not losing its flexibility in colder temperatures. The tread's twin semi-block ribs and the circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and all weather traction ensure a safer year round performance.
The tire is easily controlled. The tread design's center rib manages to increase the controllability and braking ability, while the shoulder tread blocks improve the cornering ability and power. The constant road contact of the solid center rib increases the steering responsiveness and driving ability. In other words, it secures the tire's structure against the driving pressure affecting it, while also improving the steering responsiveness and accuracy to the driver's commands. The center rib also creates friction at the moment of braking, successfully shortening the braking distance. The shoulder tread blocks increase the cornering ability and power with additional biting edges that firmly grip the road surface, guaranteeing a safer drive.
The Ultra offers a longer lasting tread life. The symmetric tread design manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
