This tire is not meant for winter weather and low temperature use. However, it resists hydroplaning and has better wet weather traction thanks to the three circumferential grooves in the tread pattern which eliminate water from below the tire's footprint.

The shoulder tread blocks grip the road during cornering and maneuvering situations, improving the cornering ability and power. The wider footprint offers additional biting edges and a flatter design which boost its braking ability, shortening its braking distance in the process. These two improvements make the tire more reliable and safer to use in dry and wet conditions.

The rigid carcass of the W and Y rated tires enhance the tire's high speed stability, ensuring a safer high speed driving experience.
