The Duro HF242 Performance Slicks is a performance, summer tire manufactured for racing vehicles. This model is suitable for both recreational and concession kart racing.
The tire offers excellent summer weather traction. It combines the summer compound with the slick footprint, which lacks any detail, to increase the dry weather application. Heat build-up along the footprint is avoided with the special heat-resistant rubber materials. The tread's surface grip increases the model's performance. However, this model should not be used in wet weather conditions. It is for dry racing only.
The tread's surface contact increases the controllability. The close road contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability, promoting safer handling and maneuvering. On the other hand, the footprint also works with the stronger structure and heat-resistant compound to enhance the high speed durability.
