OVERVIEW
The Duro DL6120 Frontier A/T is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks.
The model offers excellent all weather traction. The tread design and all season tire compound boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. The compound maintains its flexibility in all weather conditions, including in colder winter weather temperatures, and it actively resists weather damage from causing harm to the tread area. The optimized tread design, with the zigzag siping detail, keeps a firm grip on the road and terrain surface throughout the year to ensure a secure performing capability. The tread's circumferential grooves and open shoulder pattern prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint and guarantee a safer wet weather traction.
The large tread elements upgrade the all terrain durability. They enable the tire to conquer all soft, loose and uneven off-road terrain conditions, while also ensuring a secure and comfortable on-road performance. These staggered tread elements, wide grooves and open shoulder patterns guarantee the tire's performing capability both on- and off-road and they ensure the tire's forward motion even in deeper sand and loose dirt. As a result, the tire is never stuck on off-road terrain conditions and its performance is always guaranteed. The tread's staggered elements and wide grooves keep the tire's footprint clean at all times. They eliminate mud and snow and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. In this manner, the tire's footprint is never blocked from its contact with the road and terrain surface, while it effectively resists stone retention from harming the tire's casing.
The tire features a flat footprint and an optimal tread design that lengthens the tire's tread life. These tread elements evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid the formation of irregular tread wear across the tire's surface. The longer lasting even tread wear extends the tire's tread life and, in turn, its usability, making it more cost efficient.
The optimal tread design features a zigzag center tread block sequence and individual shoulder tread blocks that enhance the tire's controllability. They maintain the model's road contact throughout the year on all terrain surfaces to improve the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes quicker and more accurate in its responsiveness to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder tread blocks, with the siping detail, increase the number of biting edges, which upgrades the cornering capability and power. The better controllability and maneuvering ability ensure a safer performing capability.
The DL6120 Frontier A/T offers a quiet drive. The tread design was designed with a variable pitch sequence that decreases the road noise levels heard in the vehicle's cabin during its on-road performance. The variable pitch sequence cancels out the road noise levels heard while the tires are in motion by creating a sound frequency. This frequency cancels out the road and tread pattern noise heard during the drive. The reduced road noise levels heard guarantee a quiet and enjoyable driving experience.
