- Fuel efficient drive
OVERVIEW
The Duraturn Mozzo 4S is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Duraturn offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tire promotes great all weather traction and road gripping ability. The silica-based tire compound and the asymmetric tread design enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The silica in the compound maintains its flexible traction all year round, including in colder temperature winter weather. The asymmetric tread's elements enhance the road grip throughout the year, while its three wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The better hydroplaning resistance and all weather traction ensure a safer driving experience.
The model ensures excellent controllability. The asymmetric tread features two continuous notched ribs and an optimized shoulder tread block design and placement that maintains the tire's road contact at all times, that boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. The tread's shoulder tread blocks heighten the number of biting edges that firmly grip the road surface, which boosts the cornering and maneuvering capability. The enhanced control and maneuvering ability guarantee a secure performance.
The Mozzo 4S offers a fuel efficient drive as the silica-based compound decreases the tire's rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the external pressure affecting the tire which determines the amount of energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. The reduced rolling resistance decrease the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions and offers a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience. This also manages to slow the tread wear rate down, extending the tire's usability. The asymmetric tread's optimal road contact evenly distributes the driving pressure to prevent uneven tread wear formations. This results in a longer lasting even tread life.
