The Doublestar DU01 is a performance and high performance (depending on the speed rating) all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The tire ensures an excellent and safe high speed performance. The optimal tire shape, road contact and the prevention of heat build-up work together to enhance the high speed driving capability. The stronger structure maintains the optimal shape under the high speed driving pressure, while road contact improves the pressure distribution along the tread area. The compound and the better driving force distribution ease the pressure off the tire and prevents heat build-up along the tread area, which enables the tire to perform to its greatest capability.
The tread design upgrades the tire's controllability. The asymmetric tread's continuous center ribs keep constant road contact, which significantly improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The better road contact enhances the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder tread blocks, increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface. The higher number of biting edges boosts the cornering and maneuvering capability and power to ensure a safer performing ability.
The DU01 features an asymmetric tread design and an all season tire compound to upgrade the all weather performance. The all season tire compound improves the dry, wet and light winter weather flexibility, while the tread elements improve the number of biting edges to boost the grip on the road surface.
