OVERVIEW
The Crosswind CWD215 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the drive axle.
The model promotes excellent all weather traction. It combines the all season compound and the aggressive tread design to boost the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The compound keeps its flexibility in different temperatures with the stronger rubber elements. On the other hand, the lug placement upgrades the grip with additional biting edges in various road surface conditions, promoting a secure driving experience. The tread's wider and deeper groove placement helps resist hydroplaning as they channel water and slush through the footprint, optimizing its surface contact all year round.
The tread design and the compound also boost the tire's usability. The compound was manufactured from strengthened rubber materials to increase its wear and tread damage resistance. The compound elements prevent premature wear formation, while also protecting the tire from tread chipping, cracking or tearing. The optimized tire footprint's better road contact enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area.
