Cooper TractionCommand
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All weather traction
- Improved controllability
- High speed durability
OVERVIEW
The Cooper TractionCommand is a performance, all weather tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Cooper offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
Great all weather grip is promoted with this model. Detailed tread elements and stronger compound materials increase the tire’s true year-round grip. This combination allows the tire to securely perform in dry, wet, and even severe winter weather. The tread elements, and their detailed siping placement, generate biting edges that grip the road. On the other hand, the compound keeps the tire pliable in hot summer and freezing winter conditions. Hydroplaning is resisted with the ideal groove pattern.
The controllability and maneuvering are improved with the better road contact. The asymmetric footprint optimizes the tire’s road contact, which leads to better steering and driving stability. This combination guarantees the driver better control over the vehicle throughout the drive. Additionally, the shoulder block placement and the ideal sipe and groove pattern increase maneuvering. They result in optimized cornering and shortened braking, offering a safer high speed performance.
The Cooper TractionCommand offers great high speed durability. This high speed durability is ensured by combating pressure accumulation. The heat-resistant compound and the optimal tread design significantly reduce the possibility of heat build-up. This greatly eases the pressure off the tire during its performance. The structure does not deform under high speed pressure. Their combination helps to greatly increase the tire’s overall driving safety.
All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
