OVERVIEW
The Contender TTT868 is a highway all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The symmetric tread design and the all season tire compound improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread design features continuous ribs with an optimized siping detail that firmly grips the road surface all year. The all season tire compound guarantees superb flexibility throughout the year. The tread design's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint, effectively resisting hydroplaning. The enhanced hydroplaning prevention and great all weather traction provide a secure year round performance.
The model offers better controllability. The trailer is easily controlled by the towing vehicle thanks to its improved steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tread pattern's continuous ribs upgrade the tire's road contact, which in turn boosts the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle's commands and stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure affecting the model. As a result, the tire guarantees better control over the trailer and a safer towing experience.
The TTT868 provides first-rate load and driving durability. The tread's internal structure features a double steel belt and polyester cord body construction and nylon tread firming belt overlays.
