OVERVIEW
The Centennial Terra Trooper A/T is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for light truck vehicles.
The all terrain tread pattern allows the tire to have excellent grip and to conquer all uneven, loose or soft surfaces, such as dirt paths or mountain paths. The tire is not recommended to be used for an extended period in muddy conditions, as the mud can pack in and block the tread grooves, lowering the tire's traction. The model is perfect for drivers who are looking for versatility in their tires, as it allows the driver to maintain their everyday driving comfort while on concrete roads, but to be able to drive on unpaved roads when needed. The tire performs well both on- and off-road, offering a comfortable drive on the road and endurance off of it.
The tire has exceptional all weather traction and it grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather conditions, thanks to the tread design. The tire is rated M+S, meaning it has great traction in all seasonal conditions. The wet traction and the model's hydroplaning resistance are improved with the multi-directional grooves that disperse water from below the tire footprint. All year, and in all road conditions, the tire provides safety.
This model offers a quiet and comfortable on road experience. The pitch variation of the tread pattern cancels out the road and pattern noise the tire makes while in motion. This is achieved by creating a frequency, with the pitch variation, that is able to cancel out the soundwaves that hit the tire during the drive. As a result the road noise cannot be heard in the cabin of the vehicle, which makes the drive more enjoyable.
The tire also offers a longer tread life. The force of acceleration, cornering and braking is equally distributed along the tire's tread surface due to the special optimized tread pattern. The equal distribution of the driving pressure prevents irregular wear across the tread area. As the tire is forced to wear out evenly it is usable for a longer period of time, which extends its tread life.
The Centennial Terra Trooper A/T was manufactured with two polyester cords in its internal sidewall design. This extra reinforcement helps the tire resist accidental punctures and damages to its sidewall. The enhanced sidewalls provide protection to the entire tire by absorbing the impact pressure during all terrain driving.
