OVERVIEW
The Carlisle Ultra CRT is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire's steel belts support the tire throughout the performance and improve its overall load and driving durability. These strong structural materials prevent the tire from deforming under larger loads, greatly improving its carrying and withstand capability. The robust tread evenly distributes load and driving pressure across the tread area in order to prevent pressure accumulation and tire deformation. The tire is able to safely perform in heavy-duty conditions, making it a superb choice for trailers.
The ideal tread design and lighter construction promote a fuel efficient performance. The rolling resistance is a force that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain a constant forward motion. As a result, the lowered rolling resistance reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the towing vehicle.
