Armstrong ADR
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All season traction
- Longer lasting tread life
- Upgraded load durability
OVERVIEW
The Armstrong ADR is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle's drive axle.
The tire promotes excellent all season traction. The all season compound and the optimal block placement enable the tire to upgrade the tire's grip on the road surface in dry, wet, and winter weather conditions. The optimal block placement enables the tire to increase the grip on the road surface with the use of extra biting edges. The stronger year round compound allows the tire to improve the rubber flexibility, optimizing the summer and winter weather performance. The circumferential grooves and open shoulder pattern enable the tire to disperse water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a safer hydroplaning resistance.
A longer lasting usability is ensured with the tread design. The wider footprint with the optimal and stabilized block placement improves the surface contact throughout the drive. This allows the tire to avoid tread flexing, which manages to boost the even pressure circulation across the tread area. As a result, the tire effectively resists irregular wear formations. The durable compound to decrease the overall treadwear rate with the wear-resistant compound elements. The staggered block pattern eliminates rocks stuck between the tread elements. In this manner, rocks cannot drill into the tread area and hard the casing. This prevents stone retention from shortening the service life.
The ADR enhances the load capacity. The strengthened internal structure helps to maintain the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform under the pressure, the tire is able to greatly improve the overall load carrying capability. In this manner, the tire boosts load handling ability, which ensures a safer heavy-duty application.
