The Trac-Gard N766 is a tire manufactured for lawn mowers and other equipment. It offers exceptional traction, weight durability, damage resistance and a longer lasting usability.

Longer-Lasting Tread Life

Tires with longer tread lives are more desired on the tire market. These tires ensure a longer lasting tread life and usability by utilizing various manufacturing technologies.

The N766 combines its reinforced internal structure with its optimal tread design to ensure a lengthened and even tread wear rate. The bias ply construction of the tire strengthens it against damage. The tread’s S-shaped tread block placement optimizes the surface contact. In this manner, the tire is able to evenly spread out the driving pressure along the tread area. The evenly circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively avoids irregular tread wear formations across the tire’s surface. Durability and Damage Resistance

Tires with bias ply structures have a stronger construction, and overall durability. The diagonal ply placement of the internal structure is capable of reinforcing the tire against the driving and load pressure affecting it.

The N766 was manufactured with such a structure. This construction ensures the tire’s heavy load durability. If the tires are inflated correctly, the strengthened bias structure improves and maintains the ideal tire shape. As a result, the tire is capable of handling and carrying heavier loads with ease, without the deformation of the shape under the load and driving pressure affecting it. The strengthened construction works together with the tread design to prevent damage to the tread area and the tire’s casing. The tread design eliminates rocks stuck between the tread elements, preventing stone retention from drilling rocks into the tire’s casing and damaging it. Bias ply tires that come in smaller sizes – lawn mower or garden equipment tires – have the tendency of deforming when deflated. This is not a structural damage or construction defect. In such cases the tires need to be inflated to the proper PSI or an inner tube needs to be used, depending on the type of tire, which returns the structure to its correct shape.

Versatile Application

The N766 combines its tread design and reinforced construction to increase its versatility. The optimized tread design, with the S-shaped tread blocks improve the traction the tire has on turf. These tread elements enable the tire to increase its soft traction and ensure its forward motion on grass fields and slippery and muddy terrains, all without allowing the tire to damage the turf surface. The tread elements find traction without digging into the grass and ruining the surface.

The flat footprint and the strengthened bias ply construction, on the other hand, enables the tire to securely perform on concrete surfaces as well. The durable compound and optimal tread design prevent premature wear on such surface conditions, while the structure maintains the ideal tire shape and reinforces the tire’s strength. This combination enables the tire to perform at its greatest capability on versatile surface conditions.
