OVERVIEW

The Radar Dimax Classic is a touring, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model offers high performance sizes as well.

Summer weather traction is provided with this model. The summer compound and asymmetric tread design enable the tire to greatly upgrade its dry and wet weather grip. Durable compound elements effectively prevent heat build-up across the tread area. On the other hand, the sipe ribbed tread design generates additional biting edges with the close road contact increases its traction. Zigzag circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning in wet conditions, by dispersing water from below the footprint.

Effectively controllability is also guaranteed with this model thanks to the tread life. The ribbed pattern's surface contact improves its steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the tire offers exceptional steering response time and accuracy, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Stable shoulder ribs, with the sipe placement, generate biting edges in order to increase its cornering and maneuvering capability. The sipe and groove pattern shortens its braking distance, as they generate friction at the moment of braking.

The tire also boosts its usability. The three center ribs and stable shoulder ribs enable the tire to evenly circulate driving pressure across the tread area. As a result, pressure accumulation on sensitive tread areas is avoided, which prevents irregular wear. On the other hand, stronger compound elements resist premature wear along the tread area. Slow and even wear significantly enhances the tire's overall service life.

The Radar Dimax Classic also offers high driving comfort levels. The ribbed pattern's close road contact and ideal tread design enable the tire to effectively reduce road noise and vibration levels. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
