OVERVIEW
The Hankook Dynapro HP is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Hankook offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.
The tire has excellent all weather traction and the unique tread design with the semi-grooves improves the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The semi-grooves increase the model's bite on snow covered roads, making its use more weather versatile. The two-step graduated grooves and the four wide circumferential grooves in the tread design enhance the water and slush dispersing ability. This upgrades the wet weather traction and avoids dangerous hydroplaning situations. The better traction and road gripping ability offers great year round safety.
The model provides a quiet and comfortable driving experience, which is achieved by the tread design's tie bar and the noise reduction kerf system. The tie bar boosts the lateral and circumferential tread stiffness. It prevents the tread elements from shifting around during the drive and, in this manner, it does not generate pattern noise. The noise reducing kerf system, on the other hand, prevents the road noise from being heard in the vehicle's cabin, offering a more enjoyable drive.
The tie bar's tread stiffness also upgrades the braking ability. The better stiffness maintains contact road contact which, during braking, creates friction that enables the tire to shorten its braking distance. In this manner, the tire becomes safer to use in all weather conditions. The tie bar, working together with the internal high tensile steel belt structure, also prevents irregular tread wear patterns from forming across the tread area. The internal structure stabilizes the tire, while the tie bar stabilizes the tread elements and, as they do not shift around, even tread wear is ensured. This makes the tire's usability last and extends its tread life.
The jointless cap ply of the Dynapro HP's internal structure enhances the tire's durability. The tire maintains its optimal shape and its uniformity under the driving pressure. As it does not deform under the driving pressures affecting it, the tire is capable of performing to its utmost capability.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
