OVERVIEW

The Goodyear Wrangler AT/S is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks.

The tire promotes exceptional all weather traction. The dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability is ensured with the tread design and all season compound, which maintain excellent grip on all road surfaces. The compound keeps its flexibility throughout the year, while the tread design manages to find good road grip. The wide tread grooves manage to disperse water and slush to effectively resist hydroplaning, while the staggered tread design increases the snow eliminating ability to keep the tire's footprint clean. This ensures that the tire performs to its best ability all year in all conditions with ease.

The tread design and tire compound also boost the all terrain performance. The tread features independent staggered tread blocks on the tire's shoulders and center area, open shoulders and deep grooves. The rugged tire compound prevents off-road damage and ensures constant road contact. These improve the tire's soft, loose and uneven terrain traction and guarantee a safer driving experience. The wide grooves and the tread's self-cleaning keep the tire's footprint clean by evacuating mud and ejecting rocks stuck between the tread elements. These enhancements ensure a safer all terrain performance.

The tire's internal structure features reinforced twin high-tensile steel belts and a polyester cord body that work together to improve the all terrain durability and to promote a comfortable drive. The stronger steel belts enhance the casing's construction, preventing deformation to the tire's optimal shape.
