OVERVIEW
The Goodyear Eagle LS2 (OE) is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. This is an OE as it is the original equipment of select vehicles.
The tire offers excellent all weather traction thanks to the special all season tire compound and tread design. It grips all dry, wet and winter weather surfaces with ease and provides excellent year round safety. The circumferential grooves increase the wet weather traction and prevent dangerous hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint.
The special tread pattern improves the handling and cornering ability. The tread block sequence increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability by maintaining constant road contact. The steering responsiveness becomes quick and accurate, while the model maintains stability against the external driving forces affecting it. The cornering and maneuvering ability and power are increased by the tread design's shoulder pattern that provides additional biting edges. As a result, the tire is capable of safely performing in all weather.
The computer optimized variable pitch sequence cancels out the road and pattern noise created while the tire is in motion. The variable pitch lets out a sound frequency that cancels out all road noise generated and lowers the road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle. The driving experience the model offers is quiet and comfortable.
The Eagle LS2 (OE)'s internal steel belt structure prevents deformation at high speeds and keeps its optimal tire shape. The tire has great high speed performing ability, as the external driving pressure does not affect the tire in undesirable ways.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
