The Summit Ultramax HP A/S is a high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Summit offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
This tire promotes excellent all season traction. It combines the silica-based compound with a detailed directional pattern to enhance the tire's dry, wet, and winter weather performance. The sipe and groove placement generates a higher number of biting edges located across the tread area, while the silica elements of the rubber compound maintain their flexibility. This keeps the tire pliable in changing temperatures. Additionally, the circumferential grooves improve the hydroplaning resistance as they channel water and slush from the footprint.
The solid center rib and the stable footprint ensure the tire's constant road contact. This effectively boosts steering responsiveness and driving stability at all times.
