OVERVIEW

The Solidway E116 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The tire’s handling and maneuvering are optimized with the ideal footprint. The ribbed tread design closely follows the road surface and it maintains the tire’s constant contact with the road to improve steering responsiveness and towing stability. In other words, the steering is faster and more precise in its response to the towing vehicle’s instructions, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder tread block pattern upgrades the cornering capability with additional biting edges. At the same time, it prevents side slipping to promote a secure towing experience.

The robust structure and the rubber compound increase the tire’s heavy-duty performance. The strong compound and the reinforced internal structure work together to increase the heavy-duty handling. These elements maintain the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it can easily carry and withstand heavy loads. This load-carrying capacity makes the model perfectly safe, even under heavy loads.

The Solidway E116 provides excellent year-round traction. This exceptional performance is guaranteed with the combination of the tread design and the all season compound. Dry, wet, and winter grip is ensured. The sipes along the tread generate biting edges, which boost traction. On the other hand, the compound keeps the tire pliable in various temperatures. Grooves prevent hydroplaning as they help guide water and slush through the footprint, further increasing the tire’s wet grip.
