Roadmaster RM230 WH
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Lengthened tread life
- Enhanced load durability
- Better controllability
OVERVIEW
The Roadmaster RM230 WH is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made especially for waste haulers (WH) and it was designed to be mounted on the vehicle in all axle positions.
The tire promotes a lengthened tread life. The tread design and the durable tire compound work together to upgrade the service life and the usability. The compound is wear-resistant and it slows the tread wear rate down significantly, while the symmetric tread design manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids uneven wear formations, extending the tread life. The tread grooves feature special stone ejecting knobs that clean out rocks stuck between the tread elements to actively prevent stone retention from harming the casing and shortening the tread and service life.
The model was primarily made to be mounted on waste haulers. Due to this, it was manufactured with an extremely durable internal structure that is capable of withstanding up to 10,000 lbs of load. Its reinforced construction does not deform under the driving pressure affecting the model. This enables the tire to withstand and carry such weight with ease, without the danger of the shape's deformation during the drive.
The RM230 WH is easily controlled thanks to the tread design and the stronger structure. They maintain the tire's optimal road contact at all times, which boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The better controllability enables the driver to confidently control the vehicle throughout the year.
