OVERVIEW

The Radar Dimax AS-6 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Radar offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

This tire is covered by Radar Road Hazard warranty. Tires are eligible for an equivalent replacement if the damage caused was within the first 2/32 of tread wear or the first year after the purchase of the tire, whichever comes first. The model enhances the all weather traction. The silica compound works together with the detailed siping placement along the tread area to improve the dry, wet and winter weather grip. The compound's silica elements keep the rubber flexibility in check in versatile temperatures. On the other hand, the detailed siping placement of the symmetric tread design firmly grips the road surface during the drive, enabling the tire to upgrade the year round driving safety levels. The tread's four circumferential grooves and the optimized notched ribs work together to disperse water and slush from the footprint, resisting hydroplaning and upgrading the overall wet weather traction.

The detailed ribbed tread design also greatly boosts the controllability. The tread's surface contact improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The detailed shoulder blocks enhance the cornering capability with extra biting edges. The overall siping placement enhances the grip on the road surface and generates friction at the moment of braking, significantly shortening the braking distance. This combination enables the driver to confidently maneuver the vehicle throughout its performance.

The optimized tread pattern promotes an enjoyable drive. The three center ribs maintain the model's close surface contact, enabling the tire to absorb the shock of driving.
