OVERVIEW

The Pirelli Scorpion MTR is a mud terrain all season tire manufactured for sport utility and light truck vehicles.

The tire offers first-rate all weather traction. The tread pattern and the enhanced tire compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread design's in-block sipes increase the wet and winter weather traction and ensure a safer driving experience all year. The wide grooves and open shoulders disperse snow from between the tread elements to prevent the tread from being blocked from its contact with the road surface. The wide tread grooves also prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water from beneath the tire's footprint.

The model promotes great off-road, especially mud terrain, performance. The larger transversal grooves and the rugged tread compound ensure a safer drive on soft and loose road surfaces. The tire is able to maintain road contact while driving through mud and other loose surfaces as the tread design keeps the footprint clean. The tread lugs, open shoulders, wide grooves and staggered tread blocks clean out mud stuck between the tread elements. The stone bumpers increase the ejection rate of the tread, which prevents stone retention. The better off-road traction and the constantly clean footprint guarantee a more secure driving experience.
