OVERVIEW
The Pirelli Cinturato P1 is a high performance summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The tire promotes superb summer weather traction. The hybrid tire compound and the asymmetric tread design boost the dry and wet weather road gripping ability. The tire is not meant to be used in winter weather as the tire’s compound does not maintain its flexibility in colder temperatures, while the tread loses its road gripping ability. The tread design’s three circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from beneath the tire’s footprint. The enhanced traction and hydroplaning prevention guarantee a safer performing ability.
The tire’s strengthened internal structure improves its driving safety. The stronger construction maintains the ideal tire shape under the pressure in case of air pressure loss. Once air pressure loss occurs, due to a puncture or other damage, the reinforced structure enables the tire to be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph. This limited, temporary performance prevents the tire from being stranded on the side of the road, and, instead, it can be driven on a nearby location where the damaged tire can be fixed or changed. These tires are made for vehicles without space for spare tires. They cannot be mixed together with regular tries on the same vehicle.

The variable pitch generates a sound frequency that negates the road noise created while the tires are in motion, which lowers the road noise heard in the vehicle’s cabin. The internal structure features a polyester cord that optimizes the tire’s structure. This allows the tire to closely follow the road surface, which decreases the road vibrations felt by the passengers during the drive. The result is a quiet and enjoyable driving experience.
The Cinturato P1 offers a fuel efficient drive. The special materials and tire compound used in the tire’s manufacture and the aerodynamic sidewalls decrease the overall weight.
