OVERVIEW

The Nexen N'blue EV is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire is marked with the ‘EV' rating, which means that it was manufactured as the original equipment tire for the Kia Soul vehicle model. The tire is designed to ensure excellent fuel efficiency, high speed performance and great driving stability. It went through numerous tests to ensure that it works in the way it was intended to.

The special all season tire compound and the symmetric tread pattern increase the tire's all weather traction. The tread design firmly grips onto the road in dry, wet and winter weather. The circumferential and lateral tread grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. This enhances the wet weather traction as well and it further enhances the year round driving safety.

The model is very fuel efficient as it was manufactured with Nexen's Super Low Rolling Resistance compound. The reduced rolling resistance allows the tire to lower the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. It achieves this as the deceased rolling resistance allows the vehicle to maintain the tires motion with less energy, making it very cost-efficient and environmentally friendly.

The tire's tread pattern, with the shoulder tread blocks and continuous center rib, improve the cornering ability and the handling. During cornering, these tread elements provide additional biting edges to the tire to enhance the cornering ability and power. The tread design also maintains constant road contact which upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the tire is more easily controlled in all weather, as it is quicker and more precise in its steering responsiveness and is stabilized during the drive.

The tread pattern and the tire's internal structure work together to provide a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The shoulder tread design with the continuous center rib lower the road pattern noise heard in the vehicle's cabin while the tires are in motion. The internal structure features a polyester casing ply that ensures road contact to offer a quality ride with lowered road vibrations.

The N'blue EV has excellent driving durability in all weather. The internal structure's twin steel belts, reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon, maintain the tire's optimal shape, even under high speed driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it is safer to use and it provides great performing ability.
