OVERVIEW
The Michelin Primacy 3 ST is a performance and high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire has excellent summer weather road gripping ability. Thanks to the StabiliGrip Technology the tire maintains constant road contact with the interconnecting tread elements, which increases the dry and wet weather traction. The model is not suited for driving in winter weather, as the tire compound does not maintain its road gripping ability in the colder winter temperatures. This tread design also shortens the braking distance, even in wet conditions, and it allows the tire to break through wet surfaces and prevent hydroplaning in the process.
The tire offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The EvenPeak Technology provides variable sized tread elements that reduce the road noise heard in the vehicle's cabin, as they negate them while the tire is in motion by creating a sound frequency that cancels them out. The CushionGuard Technology, with the shock absorbing sidewalls, promotes a vibration free drive. It allows the tire to closely follow the road surface and absorbs the remaining vibrations. The result is a more enjoyable drive.
The FlexMax Technology maintains constant road contact and prevents tread shifting and deformation. As the tread elements maintain their original shape and do not shift around during the drive, the tread wears out evenly. This even tread wear extends the tire's usability, as it does not develop an irregular wear pattern. The longer usability makes the tire more cost efficient.
The Primacy 3 ST promotes easy handling. The StabiliGrip Technology's maintained road contact with the interconnecting siping design enhance the driving stability and steering responsiveness. The tire is stabilized against the driving forces and the steering responsiveness becomes more precise and quick, allowing the driver to confidently control the tire in all conditions.
