The Michelin Latitude Cross is a touring, summer tire manufactured for SUVs.

The asymmetric tread pattern provides excellent summer weather traction. The tire's tread pattern grips the road well in all dry and wet weather conditions and its circumferential and crisscross grooves prevent hydroplaning situations by eliminating water from beneath the tire footprint. While the tire has first-rate summer weather traction and it is capable of gripping the road in the heat of summer, it is not recommended for use in winter weather, as the tire compound loses its traction in colder winter temperatures. The tire offers superb summer weather driving safety and reliability.

The tire's optimized tire footprint increases its driving stability on-road. The tire becomes more reliable and safer to use in dry and wet weather as it is stabilized against the driving forces. The better stability also improves the steering ability and precision. The model is quick and precise in its response to the driver's instructions which ensures a safer driving experience.

The special tire compound used in the model's manufacture enhances its performing capability on off-road terrains. The terrain proof compound and aggressive tread design grip the road surface in all sorts of conditions and allow the model to perform well off-road. The compound also toughens up the tire for off-road driving. The tire is versatile in its use, as it provides safety and good performing capability both on- and off-road.

The optimized tire footprint and special tire compound extend the tread life. The optimized footprint equally spreads the driving pressure out along the tread surface, which prevents uneven wear across the tire. The tire compound is abrasion resistant, which slows down the tread wear rate significantly. The combination of the longer tread life and even wear makes the tire usable for a longer period of time and it increases the tread wear length.

The silent tread design with the curved tread blocks edges of the Latitude Cross offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
