The self-cleaning tread design avoids stone retention, by ejecting rocks from between the tread elements before they can drill into the tread area and damage the casing. On the other hand, tread and casing damage are also avoided. The staggered shoulders and the V-shaped sidewalls work together to guard the tire throughout its performance. Punctures, cuts, and impact damage, as well as the tread's chipping, tearing, and cracking, are prevented, further lengthening the tire's service life.
