Magna MHDL
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Enhanced traction
- Longer lasting tread life
- Upgraded durability
OVERVIEW
The Magna MHDL is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.
The tire promotes an improved traction. The tread design and the all season compound work together to improve the tire's grip on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather conditions. The tread design's stabilized elements and constant surface contact upgrades the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, while the compound boosts the rubber flexibility in various conditions. The wide groove pattern upgrades the hydroplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. This combination ensures the tire's excellent performance.
The tread design and the stronger compound upgrade the length of the tread life. The durable compound slows the tread wear rate down with the wear-resistant rubber materials. The tread's close surface contact and stable elements enable the model to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively avoids irregular tread wear formations across the tire's surface. In this manner, the tire guarantees a slower and even tread wear rate, increasing the usability.
The MHDL enhances the durability. The full steel belt construction reinforces the tire against the driving and load pressure affecting it. This enables the model to maintain the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure, preventing the tire's deformation. As a result, the tire can easily carry and withstand heavy loads with ease, without allowing the tire to deform under the pressure. The strengthened construction also actively prevents punctures, cuts and other damage from harming the casing. This ensures the tire's safer year round driving experience.
