OVERVIEW
The Kumho KRD16 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The detailed tread design of the symmetric pattern manages to increase the model's grip in dry, wet and winter weather. The aggressive tread pattern allows the tire to enhance the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the model's performance. These tread elements increase the tire's traction and driving safety throughout the year. The tread's wide zigzag circumferential groove pattern also upgrades the hydroplaning resistance. These grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint and upgrade the wet and winter weather performing capability.
The tread design's flat footprint also helps to enhance the controllability. The symmetric ribbed pattern closely follows the road surface throughout the model's performance, increasing the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more accurate in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model.
