OVERVIEW
The Kumho Ecsta V720 ACR is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
This model is DOT approved for highway use, but it should not be used in wet conditions. This is a version of the Ecsta V720 which was manufactured for the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR (American Club Racing) vehicle as an original equipment tire.
Summer weather traction is guaranteed with this tire model. The finer carbon black compound and the asymmetric tread design work together to greatly improve the dry weather traction. The carbon black compound effectively avoids heat build-up while the tires are in motion, thanks to the stronger rubber materials used. The asymmetric footprint optimizes the surface contact, which upgrades the grip in dry weather conditions. While this model features grooves on its tread area, it still should not be used in wet and rainy conditions, as it will not prevent hydroplaning.
