OVERVIEW
The Kumho Ecsta 4X is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for performance vehicles.
The special silica-based tire compound and dual zone asymmetric tread pattern promote excellent all weather traction. In dry and wet conditions, the tire firmly grips the road and provides superb performing capabilities. The inner tread area's circumferential and lateral tread grooves actively prevent hydroplaning situations by dispersing water and slush from beneath the tire footprint. The boosted all weather road gripping ability and hydroplaning resistance ensure a secure year round driving experience.
The tread pattern was computer generated to ensure excellent comfort during the drive. The variable pitch tread block sequence decreases the road noise heard in the vehicle's cabin. During the drive, the variable pitch design creates a sound frequency that negates the road noise while the tire is in motion. The result is a quiet and comfortable driving experience in all weather situations.
The model is easily controlled. The multi-angled tread blocks' stiffness increases the tread area's strength and road gripping ability. The stiff tread area and road contact boost the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tire is quick and precise in its responsiveness to the driver's instructions and the tire is stabilized against the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking. The asymmetric design's outer area shoulder tread blocks increase the number of biting edges during cornering and maneuvering, ensuring a safer driving experience.
The Ecsta 4X's tread design features multi-angled tread blocks that increase the tread stiffness, preventing the tread elements from shifting. This evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area and avoids premature and uneven wear across the tread surface. The longer lasting even wear extends the tire's tread life and usability.
