OVERVIEW

The Kumho Ecowing ES01 is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The stronger tread design and the all season high silica tire compound work together to enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures, while the tread elements firmly grip the road surface throughout the year. The wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The enhanced all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance upgrade the year round driving safety.

The model offers a fuel efficient drive. The high dispersion silica compound material stiffens the tire’s sidewalls and prevents its deformation under the driving pressure. The maintained optimal shape eases the pressure off the tire and lowers its rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the force affecting the tire, which determines the amount of energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. The reduced rolling resistance decreases the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, making the tire more fuel conscious and environmentally friendly. The lessened rolling resistance also effectively slows the tread wear rate down. In this manner, the tire is usable for a longer period of time as the tread life lasts for a longer period of time.
